Much catching up to do...

So Rusty Smile was once a Xanga, and no one likes those any longer. Life has put a year or so between me and my last post. I may be a bit "rusty" so pardon por favor.

So I have fiends in this town. They are smart individuals and many have opposing views, my self included. Sunday, I got my first crack at defending my beliefs in a long time. My bright and opposed friends have pushed me to think harder about why I feel so strongly about my stance on certain matters. I'm pleased to say that God is even bigger than I had suspected.

"The Good Willed Individual," a concept until now unrelated to fiscal and political policy, has crept into my life. I'm seeing people differently. At one point, people were right and others were wrong. The wrong ones wanted something other than what I wanted and that made them wrong. I'm seeing that they want many of the same things, they just feel we should go a different way to get there.

Now, is it the destination or the path? the end or the means? What if we play on the same team? What if the body is best able to serve as a diverse set of parts working in unison? or would that be harmony?

Hmmm...you've got a lot of good questions. Many to which I do not have the answers. I'm not really very good at philosophical (or normal) thought anyway.

Nonetheless, I am THRILLED you have returned to the blogging world. I have very much missed your posts and comments.

I was so glad to get a call from you today and to hear so much cheer in your voice. You are truly good medicine for my heart and soul. I love you very much. I'm interested to hear more of these thoughts of yours.

Interesting things to catch you up on from the past few hours. Gotta love the family drama.

In quick further thought of your post, you should look up the social work term, "equifinality." It'd fit where you are I think.

Also, isn't a body - an actual structure of a person or animal - made up of diverse parts with diverse functions (that have similar parts and functions at the same time)? I think so. I think that's the beauty in the breakdown (thank you). I think that's also more important that Christ and other apostles focused on the process more than the end. "love God," "love others as you love yourself," "run the race," "pray without ceasing," "give thanks always." I think all of these verses and premises require us to keep doing, they don't stress and end goal for us because we couldn't reach the end goal. The Law showed us that. That is why Christ had to fulfill the Law for us and justify us because we couldn't/can't....How that applies to fiscal and political policies....well, you got me there. But I'm always read to listen about it. :)

(I hope this makes sense, I am a little buzzed currently...just a little.) :)
